​GETTING STARTED IS AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3!

"THE OTWPA DIFFERENCE"

We take a hands on approach to all of our lessons here at OTWPA. Our students learn by getting up and doing. Whether it's practicing facial expressions, blocking (movement on stage), singing, or poetry our students get to dive right in and learn to take on challenges with a positive attitude. We go BEYOND traditional theatre so that our students are well rounded in many styles of acting! This gives our students our students a huge competitive edge if they decide to take jobs in the entertainment industry. Triple threats (A person who sings, acts & dances) used to be unheard of, nowadays they are a lot more common and you must harness many more skills to be considered for many roles. At OTWPA we understand that performing arts are everchanging and in addition to staying up to date with current practices and standards in the industry we continuously implement them into our lessons.

Times will vary during production schedule, events, & projects. Performance students will be required to stay until 9p at times or have other days that they must attend. Prior notice will be given as much as possible.
NEW TO PERFORMING ARTS? Here's what to expect on your first day!
We welcome students and allow them to get to know one another and explore at their own pace with lots of encouragement. They will learn fun games and exercises that teach them different skills and concepts necessary for the performing arts. They will begin learning terms and all the basics and will have a chance to start putting them into action. ​

IS YOUR CHILD AN ADVANCED PERFORMER?
​CONSIDER JOINING OUR CREATIVE SPORTS TEAM... THE WALLSTARS!

Wallstars are our Advanced Team Ages 10-18 (8 & 9 year olds accepted on a case by case basis). (Must Audition) 

​If your child has experience in performing arts this may be the team for them! Our Wall-Stars are really committed to learning and growing in the industry. They receive 13 hours of instruction & rehearsals weekly to prepare for roles in movies, radio, TV, commercials, YouTube/Roku, public performances & more!

Level I students are the first level of the Wall-Stars team. They will receive intense training and work their way up to Level II where they will be able to travel, receive additional 1 on 1 training, have more opportunities & attend more functions. 

The WALLSTARS represent our academy at many events & engagements!

Jobs & Bookings 
Wall-Stars students get amazing opportunities to be cast in roles in stage plays, movies, commercials & TV.
Intructions for Video Submissions
  • Video must be 3 mins or less, continuous without any editing, as it would be for a live audition.
  • Please include student's Name & Age
  • Display as many talents as you can! Show confidence & smile! i.e. singing, acting, juggling, tumbling etc.
  • Show personality! You may give a monologue &/or tell us your hobbies & some cool things about you. (This is what makes YOU awesome!)
  • Record in a quiet place with no distractions. Be mindful of sounds such as dogs barking, mowers, fans, siblings etc. that could make it hard to hear or focus on your audition.​
  • No one else should appear in the video except the student auditioning
Wall-Stars are very fast paced and performance oriented. This elite group represents our academy at many functions, events & engagements! They will train, perform & make appearances year-round.
